Garbage Disposal Repair & Installation in Orange County, CA

Humming but not spinning? Jammed, leaking, or tripping the reset every other day? We repair disposals that are worth saving and install new ones when they aren't — with an honest call on which is which.

Disposal problems we handle

  • Humming without spinning — usually a jammed flywheel
  • Leaks from the bottom, top ring, or side connections
  • Constant resets or a tripping breaker
  • Grinding or rattling noises
  • Odors that won't scrub away
  • A disposal that drains slow or backs up into the other sink basin

Repair or replace — the honest call

Not every disposal is worth saving, and we'll tell you straight which yours is:

  • Jams, stuck flywheels, and loose connections are usually quick repairs
  • Leaks from the bottom of the housing mean the internal seals are gone — that's a replacement
  • If it's failing and was underpowered for your kitchen anyway, replacing once beats repairing twice

New disposal, installed right

  • Sized to your household — not just the biggest motor on the shelf
  • Mounted, sealed, and wired correctly, with the dishwasher line connected properly
  • Old unit hauled away and the cabinet left clean
  • We'll show you the reset button — and what should never go down it

Honest, upfront pricing before any work starts. Call (714) 587-5801 or text us a photo of the problem — we'll get you a clear answer fast.

Garbage Disposal Repair questions

My disposal hums but won't spin — is it dead?
Usually not. A hum means power is getting there but the flywheel is jammed. Sometimes it frees up with the hex key at the bottom of the unit (switch off first!). If it jams right back up or keeps tripping the reset, call us — forcing it burns out the motor.
My disposal is leaking from the bottom. Can it be fixed?
A bottom leak almost always means the internal seals have failed, and there's no lasting repair for that — it needs replacement. Leaks from the top mounting ring or the side connections, on the other hand, are usually fixable.
What shouldn't go down a garbage disposal?
Grease is the big one — it hardens in the drain line downstream. Also fibrous things like celery and corn husks, coffee grounds, and pasta or rice that swell with water. Run cold water while grinding to help everything else move along.
Can you connect my dishwasher to the new disposal?
Yes — the dishwasher drain ties into the disposal, and it has to be connected (and the knockout plug removed) correctly or the dishwasher won't drain. It's a classic DIY-install miss we fix all the time.
